Modern counterfeit £1 coins in presumably a lead/tin alloy. 1987 (wt. 9.83g) and 1996 (wt. 8.72g). Both have the correct obvese, reverse and edge reading. The 1996 retains some vaguely correct traces of colour, but both are obviously false. (2010).
