Pattern penny uniface by Adolf Weyl. Peck 2149, Freeman 879. Practically as struck. Rated R20 by Freeman, Peck doesn't give any rarity estimates. There are figures lightly scratched near the border on the reverse. The F881 (Cu) also has similarly etched numbers suggesting an inscription at or around the time of manufacture. Ex J G Murdoch, Sotheby 15-19-3/1904 lot 538 part and Evan Roberts. Probably unique.

N.B. If any one has the silver version of this type (F880, P2150) and wishes to make up the original set of gold, silver and copper, the copper (F881) would be made available in addition to this piece. Conversely, if the silver piece is available to purchase, we would be interested in acquiring it. (Also listed in pennies)
